A hivatalos politika szereplőivel szemben nincs sok értelme elvárásokat megfogalmazni. A legális, a rendszer kereteit meg-nem-kérdőjelező politikusoktól nem várunk semmit. Ez nem jelenti azt, hogy nem számít mit mondanak és mit tesznek. 

Jámbor András veszi magának a bátorságot, és gyakorlatilag a magyar nép nevében tesz nyilatkozatot, és fogalmaz meg egy nyílt levelet Ilaria Salisnak címezve. 

(2023. februárjában a budapesti nemzetközi náci találkozó néhány náci résztvevőjét fizikai támadás érte, többeket megvertek. A rendőrség ötvenfős külön csoportja végül három embert tudott letartóztatni, egyikük volt Ilaria Salis. Több mint egy évet ült börtönben, tízéves börtönbüntetést kért rá az ügyész, de 2024-ben Olaszországban Európa Parlamenti képviselőnek választották, így a mentelmi jog miatt kiszabadult.) 

A levél ostoba vagdalkozás. A legfeltűnőbb bármiféle szolidaritás hiánya – fel sem merül benne, hogy egy fasizálódó rendszer politikai foglyaival együttérezzen. Nem az Orbán-rezsimet okolja a Szikra ellen folyó kampányért, vagy a két hétre letartóztatott szikrás tagért, nem, hanem azokat a náciveréssel vádolt embereket, akiket európai elfogatóparancs alapján azóta is üldöz kontinens-szerte az orbáni állam. 

Jámbornak jogában áll elítélni nácik megverését. De hogy eközben egy szava sincs a fasizmus elítélésére, az emberek kiirtására buzdító uszítók elleni küzdelem említésére, az nagyon szánalmas dolog. Önmagát sajnáltatja, és nem azokat az évtizedes hosszúságú börtönbüntetéssel fenyegetett fiatalokat, akik a német és magyar állam politikai manipulációinak áldozatai. 

Ilaria börtönben töltött ideje Jámbor szerint csak „marketing”. Jámbor „nyugati identitáspolitikát” emleget, nyilván csak sértegetni akar, mert ennek a kifejezésnek, különösen ebben az összefüggésben nincs semmi értelme. 

Ne akarja már Jámbor megmondani, hogy mi az a szolidaritás! Hiszen pont ő az, akiből ez teljesen hiányzik. 

A Szikra mozgalmat az Orbán-rezsim potenciális veszélyként kezelte, mint minden ellenzéki mozgalmat. A lejáratására folyamatosan indítottak kampányokat, az, hogy pont a 2023-as náciverés után indult kampány bizonyult a legsikeresebbnek, pusztán a véletlen műve. Aki egy kicsit is tisztában van a magyar politikai viszonyokkal, az egy percig sem gondolta komolyan, hogy egy ilyen akcióhoz bármelyik Szikra tagnak bármi köze lehetett volna, de a rágalomkampányok többnyire nem a valóságban gyökereznek. Érzéketlen és cinikus dolog a lejáratókampány ürügyét okolni, és nem a hatalmi gépezetet. 

Jámbor szerint az – állítólag – nácikat verő külföldiek azok, akik ártanak „az országnak”, és nem a totális uralomra törő rezsim, nem a fasizmust sok területen rehabilitáló kormánypolitika, nem a deklarált antifasizmusellenességgel a fasizmus mellet kiálló állami propaganda, nem a kormány fasizálódását kihasználva szerveződő náci csoportok. 

Jámbor Andrást egy súlyos megfelelési kényszer vezérli, az általa elképzelt rendpárti nyárspolgárnak való megfelelés kényszere. 

Szánalmas megalázkodás – vagy máshonnan nézve őszinte vallomás – azt bizonygatnia, hogy ő, Jámbor András Ilaria ügyében teljes mértékben egyetért az Orbán-rezsimmel.

It does not make much sense to have expectations towards the actors of mainstream politics. We do not have any expectations from politicians who stick to legality and do not question the boundaries of the system. This does not mean that what they say and do is not important. 

András Jámbor dares to make a proclamation quasi on behalf of the entire Hungarian nation, writing an open letter to Ilaria Salis in the meantime. 

(In February 2023 during the international nazi meeting of Budapest, some participants have been physically assaulted, lot of them beaten. The fifty man strong squad of the police could eventually arrest three people, one of them was Ilaria Salis. She was in prison for more than a year, the prosecutor wanted her to be sentenced for ten years, but in 2024 she was elected to be a representative in the EU, so she was freed thanks tot he legal immunity of MPs.) 

The letter is merely an ignorant rambling. All sorts of solidarity is lacking – it does not even consider to feel empathy towards the political prisoners of a system hellbent on the process of becoming fascist. It does not blame the Orbán regime for the campaign against Szikra, or for the two weeks long arrested Szikra member. No, it blames those people, who allegedly have beaten nazis, and since been hunted continent-wide by the state of Orbán, based on a European arrest warrant. 

Jámbor is free to condemn the beating of nazis. But it is tremendously despicable, that he does not have a word for condemning fascism or to mention the struggle against those, who agitate for the extermination of certain groups of people. He pities himself, not those young adults who are being threatened by decade long prison sentences, and are the victims of the machinations of the Hungarian and German states.  

Jámbor considers Ilaria’s time in prison as „marketing”. Jámbor mentions „western identity politics”. He obviously wants to make insults, since this term, particularly under these circumstances has no sense. 

How could Jámbor tell, what solidarity is?! He has no clue of it whatsoever. 

The Szikra movement was handled as a potential danger by the Orbán regime, like all the other movements of the opposition. There have always been smear campaigns against it. It was only accidental, that the campaign after the 2023 nazi beating was the most successful. Those who are at least a bit familiar with the Hungarian political context, would not even consider the idea, that any member of Szikra may have any kind of connections to an action like this, but smear campaigns are not operating ont he terms of reality. It is insensitive and cynical to blame the casus beli of the smear campaign, and not the political machine. 

According to Jámbor, the allegedyl nazi-beater foreigners are those, who harm the „country”, and not the regime which strives for total controll, not the governmental policy which rehabilitates fascism, not the governmental propaganda which supports fascism by declaring itself to be anti-antifascist, not the quickly growing nazi groups, who take advantage ont he government’s leniency. 

András Jámbor is being directed by a severe compulsion to conform, to conform to the law-and-order petty burgeois, which exists only in his imagination. 

Pathetic self-humiliation – or from another perspective, honest opinion – to say that in the case of Ilaria, he is totally ont he same page with Orbán.
